The Erasmus Mundus Programmes Ember and Eminence have come to an end. Starting in August 2013 up to the June 2017 a number of visiting professors and PhD candidates have spent different periods at the Section for Caucasus Studies, Faculty of Culture and Society, Malmö University: Professors Zaal Kikvidze and Alexandre Kukhianidze, PhD Candidates Elnur Aliyev, Tamuna Lomadze, Giorgi Omsarashvili, Maka Tetradze, Tina Tskhovrebadze, Agil Valiyev. Several students were also awarded Erasmus Mundus scholarships and followed Caucasus Studies courses, including Lika Kvaratskhelia, Tsotne Kereselidze and Leri Khupenia.
Caucasus Studies thank all for contributions during the visit to Malmö University and wish all further succuss in their research. We are also happy to note continued good contacts and cooperation with this group of scholars in the Caucasus. This has all been made possible thanks to the Erasmus Mundus Programme and to the hard work of the Malmö University International Office with Gunilla Pfannenstill, Åsa Fagerström and Vilhelm Engström.
